Tallow is a remarkably stable and pure ingredient made from suet, the highest quality fat found in healthy, grass-fed cattle. For centuries, traditional cultures have revered this part of the animal as a highly valuable food source. In addition to providing a host of fat-soluble vitamins, tallow's saturated fat content is nearly biologically identical to that of our own skin. This is why time and time again, we hear from our customers with various skin conditions about the healing power that comes with regular use of Pluma tallow balm.
